Vinoo Mankad Trophy: BCCI names Associate and Affiliate team, Arunachal and Sikkim miss out

Meghalaya's wicket-keeper batsman Rohit Shah will lead BCCI's 15-member Associate and Affiliate Under-19 team for the Paytm Vinoo Mankad Trophy One-Day limited overs zonal League (East Zone) to be held in Dhanbad. Bihar's Shashi Anand has been named as the vice-captain of the side.

The BCCI has a total of six Associate and Affiliate members. However, players from only four members managed to make the cut, with Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim having no representation in the team. 

The team will open its campaign against Assam on October 2.
