Rai is slated to meet all state cricket associations on May 6 in his efforts to understand their concerns and difficulties in implementing SC orders of July 18, 2016 in their respective states.
With the likely scenario of disgruntled Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) members calling for boycotting the upcoming Champions Trophy during the May 7 Special General Meeting, the head of Supreme Court-appointed Committee of Administrators (COA), Vinod Rai, is contemplating to be present to take personal stock of the situation.
A source close to COA has told DNA that Rai has been advised to personally oversee how a few dominant forces are trying to dictate terms as per their whims and fancies. "Let him also experience the inside atmosphere where only one or two members control BCCI like their own fiefdom," a source said.

This will be first time that COA will interact with newly-inducted states as per Justice Lodha panel recommendations of one-state-one-vote.
The meeting was earlier called May 5 but was rescheduled to suit availability of members who were complaining about the unnecessary long stay in the Capital. Representatives of North and East have been asked to meet Rai at 12 pm, whereas South, Central and West would be asked to come around 2 pm on Saturday.
There remains a question over Bihar, and whether the same corruption-ridden Bihar Cricket Association should be invited or not.
Meanwhile, the mood in erstwhile N Srinivasan camp is that of complete non-cooperation with the International Cricket Council (ICC) after the recent drubbing on the new revenue sharing model.
"We're going to discuss in detail about how India was humiliated in Dubai. Now, it will be up to the SGM to decide whether they want a dominant or a lame duck BCCI," said a senior BCCI functionary.
"All these talks of extra $100 million to my mind is fake as there is nothing given to our representative in writing by ICC Board. If there is any hidden understanding between Shashank Manohar and COA, then that's a separate issue," he added.
