It was Kings XI Punjab's last IPL match in the 2013 edition and the team were clearly playing for pride against table-toppers Mumbai Indians.
However, the match was also the last match in the IPL for the team from Punjab's captain Adam Gilchrist who decided to hang up his gloves from this T20 extravaganza.
Kings XI Punjab had sealed the match but Gilchrist decided to bowl himself in the final over of the match, much to the excitement of fans and his teammates.
Batsman at the crease Harbhajan Singh decided to slog the 'amateur' bowler but the now all-round player was out and Gilchrist claimed his first wicket in competitive cricket.
Gilchrist seemed elated with the wicket and broke into a half Gangnam Style jig as he celebrated his first wicket. The wicket-keeper batsman then ran around a big with indicating a wicket as he was hugged by his teammates as fans cheered the Australian player.
The video of the celebration as Gilchrist claimed his first wicket has gone viral on YouTube as many fans of the cricketer have viewed, shared and commented on the video.
