A Manchester United fan from India, Jaydeep, received a lot of support, sympathy and retweets on Twitter after he posted a picture of himself outside the Old Trafford stadium on Sunday, expressing excitement for the match which later got cancelled due to a bomb scare.

It was the last match of Manchester United for this season's Premier League to be played against Bournemouth. Jaydeep tweeted a picture of himself standing outside one of the most popular stadiums in the world, wearing the team jersey and scarf, with a caption, 'My first game at OT lads'.

Unfortunately, Jaydeep's dream was not fulfilled as the match got cancelled due to security concerns that led to the evacuation of everyone present in the stadium. A total of 76,000 people had bought a ticket for the match. The suspected bomb article turned out to be a training device for sniffer dogs.

Jaydeep later sent an angry tweet saying that he 'spent a very hard earned 100 quid' to watch the match 'and someone left that thing by mistake'. He also said that he now feels like asking for a refund. There have been more than 15 thousand retweets of Jaydeep's picture till now, with everyone expressing sympathy and a few even demanding compensation for him. The unexpected support seemed to have calmed Jaydeep as he later tweeted 'Match day has to wait but still my first visit to Old Trafford, a long cherished dream' came true. He even thanked everyone for their concern and said that he will definitely catch a match next season as he is in the UK this year.
