Wasim Akram, former Pakistan captain was interrupted during a live shoot for an Indian news channel on Sunday According to a report in ESPNCRICINFO.com, the incident occurred when a man objected to being filmed. An employee who was present there told the website that AKram wasn’t heckled or threatened with any physical harm.

It was being shot in Lower Parel in Mumbai. A video of the incident had gone viral which showed a man entering the camera frame and trying to grab the camera before the footage was switched away from the scene and back to the studio. Aaj Tak’s Vikrant Gupta tweeted about the incident saying: “Friends no need to panic. Nothing wrong with@wasimakramlive - a few people just objected to the cameras there. That's it.”

He added on Monday: "About last night, nothing happened to Wasim Akram and nobody even touched him. One drunkard created a scene seeing live cameras for attention.'

The same man reportedly disrupted another shoot which was being carried out by ABP news next to the Aaj Tak set-up which was being hosted by Murali Karitk.
