Former World number one Rafael Nadal has blamed himself over his recent struggles, saying he was solely to blame for his recent dip in form, not his support staff.

The two-time Wimbledon champion said that he had an amazing career with his team, and added that the one thing he wants to change is himself.

The 29-year-old further said that he feels mentally fit and physically healthy, which helps him to keep working and keep competing in big events, Sports 24 reported.

Nadal has been coached by his uncle, Toni Nadal and has won 14 Grand Slam titles under his training.

Nadal will now head into the US Open as eighth seed, which starts from August 31.
