Mumbai skipper Suryakumar Yadav has reportedly stepped down post his side’s poor performance in Ranji Trophy 2014-15.
Suryakumar, who plays for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL), has been one of Mumbai’s batting pillars in recent years. Poor form as well as off-field issues may be the reason for Suryakumar's decision, reports Cricbuzz.. The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) had earlier issued warnings to Suryakumar and pace bowler Shardul Thakur, post their altercation during Mumbai’s last match against Madhya Pradesh.Suryakumar was elected skipper earlier on in the season.
