England fast bowler Liam Plunkett has warned the West Indies batsmen to be wary of his menacing pace, expressing that he would like to ruffle up his opponents in the upcoming Caribbean tour.

Plunkett, who is pressing for a place in the starting XI in the first Test, was recalled to the Test squad last summer and claimed 18 wickets in Test series against Sri Lanka and India before being sidelined due to injury.

Ahead of the warm-up match against a St Kitts & Nevis Invitation XI, the Yorkshire star said that he was trying to be the fastest bowler on the pitch, and he trains hard at it and feels being stand out from the rest.

Plunkett further said that he was not a bowler who runs up; hits line and length all day, insisting that he wants to ruffle batsmen up in the forthcoming games, the Mirror reported.

Following the warm-ups in St Kitts, England play the Windies in Tests in Antigua (13-17 April), Grenada (21-25 April) and Barbados (1-5 May).
