Shocking: Chyna’s manager had planned an intervention for her before she died

Chyna was discovered dead on Wednesday afternoon at her home in Southern California.

Chyna’s manager has told TMZ sports, that he had struck a deal for the late WWE legend to appear on the TV show Intervention to get help but she died before they could start production. Her manager Anthony Anzaldo was quoted saying that Chyna’s friends had become concerned about her prescription drug use and that she over-medicating herself with Ambien and Valium.

Anzaldo had reached an agreement with Intervention producers about doing an episode with Joanie Laurer, which would include her closest WWE buddies including Stone Cold Steve Austin and Mick Foley to participate. Anzaldo found her dead. He had gone to her apartment after not hearing from her for days and he found her dead. He is now planning a huge memorial for her. 

ProWrestlingSheet.com said that Chyna was discovered on Wednesday afternoon at her home in Southern California. After a career in WWE, Chyna took to modeling and bodybuilding. She made a sex tape with her then boyfriend in 2004 that led to a brief career as a pornographic actress, according to the Hollywood Reporter. She also had several stints on reality shows like "The Surreal Life" and "Celebrity Rehab with Dr Drew".

Stephanie McMahon took to Twitter: "I just heard the tragic news that @ChynaJoanLaurer has passed. She was truly a pioneer in our industry, and she will be missed. #RIPChyna."
