Shoaib Malik conspicuous by his absence at Sania Mirza's sister's wedding?

The ace tennis player saw her younger sister get married at a lavish ceremony in Hyderabad on September 17. Sania Mirza, who has been having a dream run in her tennis career, made sure she was by her sister Anam’s side when she got married to Akbar Rashed. However, Sania's husband Pakistani cricket player Shoaib Malik didn't seem to be at the wedding. The tennis player didn't tweet any pictures of her husband at the wedding.

Sania Mirza was decked in a luxurious Manish Malhotra lehenga for the wedding ceremony. The plain skirt was offset with a beautifully embroidered full-sleeve top and it was perfect for the tennis star. Her sister Anam was dressed in a pretty pink wedding lehenga that had extensive work on it.  

Sania posted a picture of the two sisters together and tweeted, “My beautiful Anam Mirza” with a kiss. Anam, a stylist by profession, has styled Sania for several events in the past.

Anam got engaged to Hyderabad-based businessman Akbar Rashed earlier this year. The Mehendi ceremony was held on Tuesday this week. Anam had also visited designer Manish Malhotra to pick out outfits for her trousseau.
