Former Pak wicket keeper, Rashid Latif has criticized Saeed Ajmal's bowling, saying that batsmen around the world know how to deal with his 'doosra' and he is not able to deliver a match winning performance for Pakistan. Latif said that he feels that Ajmal is playing in the national team on reputation alone and not for his performance.

However he admitted that Ajmal has been a fine bowler for Pakistan but now he has been almost completely sorted out by top players like Sangakkara, De Villiers, Kohli. Citing the example of the last few Test series played by Pakistan against South Africa and Sri Lanka where Saeed was not very effective, Rashid said spinners such as Sri Lanka's Rangana Herath and even South Africa's Imran Tahir upstaged Saeed in those contests, report said.

Latif also pointed that other ex-players and critics have also seen the deterioration in the bowling of both Saeed and Abdur Rahman.
