Sad to leave this beautiful country: Dwayne Bravo gets emotional as his IPL stint comes to an end

It was a memorable tournament for the Gujarat Lions as the team just fell short of reaching the IPL final. They lost out to Sunrisers Hyderabad who were helped by skipper David Warner's 93. Gujarat Lion Dwayne Bravo, who has become something of a sensation thanks to his his Champion song had bittersweet memories about leaving the country. He wrote on Instagram: "It's always sad to leave this beautiful country see u soon India #champion next stop london. Team GL great season proud of u guys. All the best to RCB and SRH #champion."

In their last match, Aaron Finch (50) rescued his side with a fighting half-century, leading Gujarat to a competitive 162 for seven with useful contribution from Brendon McCullum (32), Dinesh Karthik (26) and Dwayne Bravo (20). Gujarat Lions were one of the best teams in the league this year, and they will be hopeful of continuing in the same vein in upcoming IPL tournaments.
