The tickets for the Rugby World Cup final to be held in October are reportedly being touted for a whopping 1,18,000 dollars per seat on websites.

With the tournament final still a long way off, the category A ticket has a face value of about 1,430 dollars, but is being advertised on a secondary ticket website, StubHub.co.uk, for 82 times its original price, while category D tickets for the final at Twickenham are being touted for 15,000 dollars, 60 times the 250 dollar face value.

England 2015 Rugby World Cup chief executive Debbie Jevans is hoping that the new legislation forcing secondary websites to publish the exact row and seat number would prove a deterrent and warned that people buying tickets from unofficial sources can be refused entrance.
