The Indo-Pak Express of Rohan Bopanna and Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi recorded a come-from-behind three-set victory to advance to the third round at the Australian Open here Saturday.
The seventh seeds beat unseeded British pair of Colin Fleming and Ross Hutchins 4-6, 6-3, 6-2.
The first set was a close fought affair with both teams trading 15 winners. But the Indo-Pak team failed to take their chances and gave away two break points to their opponents who converted one.
Bopanna-Qureshi came back strongly in the second registering 13 winners to their opponents' nine. They also won five break point opportunities managing to convert one.
The wheels seem to come off for the British pair and they were routed in the third set with Bopanna-Qureshi converting three of the six break points on offer and smashing 17 winners.
