Narsingh Pancham Yadav's chances of getting any kind of relief from the National Anti Doping Agency (NADA) panel has got yet another jolt on Friday after one of the two witnesses (kitchen staff members) produced by him to prove his innocence apparently turned 'hostile'.

Though Narsingh's part of hearing was over officially on Thursday, the entire NADA panel assembled one more time on Friday to hear out the two witnesses, Sonepat Sports Authority of India's chefs, presented by Narsingh's defence team.

dna learns that both chefs (Vijay and Rahul) were asked to submit written statements by the panel. "One of the witnesses have turned hostile," said a source.

If it is true, Narsingh's chances of getting any relief from the panel on the 'conspiracy angle' will further diminish. It has come just a day after NADA's counter on Thursday that the grappler has failed to provide any evidence to satisfy NADA and World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).

Narsingh, who twice edged Olympic medallist Sushil Kumar for a spot in the 74kg category, could now face a ban of four years as per the WADA code. "I don't think that Narsingh will get any relief in the wake of his main witness turning hostile. We all know that the WADA code is clear an athlete is responsible for what the beats and what he drinks," added the source.

Narsingh filed an FIR at the Sonepat's Rai police station on Tuesday night, naming a 17-year-old Delhi-based wrestler for mixing banned substance into his food and water. The panel is likely to pronounce its verdict either on Saturday or Monday.
