Pune FC and Sporting Clube de Goa signed a peace treaty sharing two goals equally, in the 17th round of the I-League, at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, Balewadi here on Sunday.

Beevan D'Mello put the Goan side ahead in the 39th minute, while Thongkhosiem Haokip netted the equaliser for Pune FC in the 56th minute.

Sporting hang on to their second spot in the points tally with 28 points so does the Pune FC in the third position with 25 points.

Oscar Bruzon coached Goan side were superior in the first session , while the host after finding the equaliser in the 56th minute dictated terms in the latter session, and one one occasion the cross piece came the rescue of Sporting when Anthong Fernandes pile driver hit the piece before going out.

Nalappan Mohanraj and Royston D'Souza, the Mumbai Tigers' youngsters did exhibit good game of soccer for Sporting, while the tireless Gabriel Fernandes played havoc in the Goan defence.
