Arsenal legend Thierry Henry, has said that his former club has lost its mojo to attract world's  best players. This comment comes at a critical time when Arsenal is languishing at the seventh spot in Premier League table and is almost sure to miss out on next year's Champions League action.

Henry said,"'It kills me to say this as an Arsenal fan, but my old club are not an attractive destination any more for the top, top players. Why would the leading players who can have a real impact in the Premier League and improve that Arsenal team come to the Emirates?," he wrote in his Sun column.

The Frenchaman went on to add that he is not saying this just because Arsenal might miss out on Champions League football. "I don't base this on the fact that Arsenal look like they won't qualify for the Champions League next season," wrote the former Arsenal superstar.

He seems to be quite aware of the sound financial muscles of the club and believes that money cannot be the problem. "The club has money, we are told, so the wages must be on offer. And yes, London is great, the stadium is great. It's not just money, London or a shiny stadium. It's the chances of success."

The prolific striker then went on to give some recent transfer examples which could have gone Arsenal's way but the players opted for a different destination. It seems that the players believe that development in Arsenal have come to a halt with minimum chances of silverware.

N'Golo Kante rejected a potential move to Arsenal and instead joined Chelsea in spite of knowing that there would be no European football. England international Jamie Vardy also stayed put to a move to the Emirates and instead preferred to carry on at Leicester after winning the Premier League title.

Henry beleives that only sileverware can redeem Arsenal, and once again make it a force to reckon with in Europe. He questioned that,"How do you make superstars join when Barca, Real, Munich are sniffing about?"

When a possible "Wexit"is on the cards, and contracts of key players like Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil is yet to be renewed, Arsenal is going through a serious crisis.
