Delhi Police has busted an alleged high-tech gang which was betting on IPL matches with the arrest of four persons from West Delhi's Rajouri Garden area.

The accused have been identified as Dinesh Wadhwa (39), Sanjeet Kumar (45), Sachin alias Montu (36) and Rajiv Wadhwa (36). Police has recovered one LCD, a Laptop, six mobiles and Rs 5,500 stake money.

"We had got information that some persons are betting on IPL matches in Beri Wala Bagh. A raid was conducted there and four persons were found inside a house who were having one main mobile connection in which regular rates were coming and one Laptop and registers in which they were updating the details of the customer," DCP (West) Pushpendra Kumar said in Delhi.

Total Rs 5,500 were recovered as stake money. A case under sections of Gambling Act has been registered and the four persons arrested, police said.
