Though Pakistan were defeated by an innings and 80 runs in the third Test against New Zealand, Younis believes that the team should not be criticized as abandoning the second day's play, in view of Australian batsman Phillip Hughes's demise, had broken team's rhythm, the Dawn reported.
Pakistan played without ace spinner Saeed Ajmal, who is currently under suspension over an illegal bowling action since September.
Former Pakistan pace bowler Younis also praised Younis Khan and Misbah-ul-Haq for their impressive performance.
