Manny Pacquiao has admitted that he is close to call curtains on his boxing career as the Filipino boxer received a hero's welcome on return to his home country on Wednesday.

Pacquiao suffered his sixth loss of his career following defeat to unbeaten American boxer Floyd Mayweather in the 'Fight of the Century' bout in Las Vegas on 2 May.

The six-weight word champion subsequently underwent corrective surgery to fix his torn rotator cuff sustained months before the high-octane fight.

The Filipino boxer said that he would focus on healing his shoulder, adding that he would announce whether he would continue his career or retirement after his recovery.

Pacquiao said that although he was not going to retire soon, it is near as he will turn 37 this December, the BBC reported.

Pacquiao insisted that he wants a rematch against Mayweather, claiming that he reviewed the fight and saw himself won by two points. The Filipino, however, said a decision has been made and they have to accept it.
