Novak Djokovic stunned by Ivo Karlovic in three sets in Doha quarters

World number one Novak Djokovic suffered a surprise defeat against Croatian Ivo Karlovic in three sets during their quarterfinal clash at the Qatar Open in Doha.

Karlovic clinched a 6-7 (2-7), 7-6 (8-6), 6-4 victory against the Serbian to set up a semifinal clash against Spaniard David Ferrer, who brushed aside Germany's Dustin Brown 6-2 6-2.

An elated Karlovic said that he had been feeling good despite the wind and he knew Djokovic hadn't been able to show his full range, adding that he just had to focus on his game, the BBC reported.

On the other hand, Tomas Berdych from the Czech Republic will face Italy's Andreas Seppi in the other semifinal contest.
