North Zone beat South by 100 runs in Deodhar semis

North Zone got the better of South Zone by 100 runs in the first semifinal of the Deodhar Trophy in Visakhapatnam on Monday. Rajat Paliwal's unbeaten century helped the winners post a total of 265 on board.

Later, their bowlers Harbhajan Singh and Parvez Rasool claimed three wickets each to restrict the opponents to 165.
