Netherlands put up a fighting 151/4 in their 20 overs against New Zealand at the World Twenty20 Group 1 league clash on Saturday.

Netherlands built on a steady start by Stephan Myberg and Michael Swart to accelerate towards the end overs and finish with a total that would challenge New Zealand in a crucial encounter.

Peter Borren (49 off 35) and Tom Cooper (40 off 23) took apart the New Zealand part-timers. Kane Williamson especially came in for some stick as he conceded 17 off his only over.

Netherlands, who nearly defeated South Africa on Thursday, will be looking to complete an upset win this time. New Zealand on the other hand, will try to win this match to remain in contention for the semifinals.
