Premier League club Manchester United has confirmed that winger Nani has signed a new five-year deal that will keep him at Old Trafford until June 2018.

According to The Daily Express, the Portuguese star signed for United in may 2007 and during his time at the club has lifted four Premier League titles, two League Cups, a FIFA Club World Cup and the UEFA Champions League. Nani said that playing at United had been a fantastic experience for him, and when he came to the club, he had never imagined he would reach the success they had enjoyed.

He said that training with top players who wanted to win trophies every year was a great motivation for him, adding that he was happy with the faith the new manager had shown in him and looking forward to help the team compete for more honours this season.
