MS Dhoni to own an IPL team?

After Chennai Super Kings got suspended from IPL for two years, many wondered if it was the last we have seen of MS Dhoni in Indian Premier League(IPL). 

However, reports suggest that Mahendra Singh Dhoni is now mulling to buy an IPL team.  It is still not known whether he will play in IPL though. Also interested in owning a team is Kolkata based businessman Sanjeev Goenka. According to media reports, both have already expressed their intention to BCCI. Goenka is currently the co-owner of Atletico de Kolkata in Indian Super League(ISL) alongside Saurav Ganguly. 

He is interested in a team from any other city apart from Kolkata.  Dhoni reportedly has the backing of many Ranchi based businessmen.
