Mahendra Singh Dhoni may have caused mayhem in the English camp, blasting 134 off 122 balls in the 2nd ODI at Cuttack, but on Saturday he was deceived by the vicious bowling of a 17-year-old second division player from Kolkata.

India had an optional practice session at the Eden Gardens on Saturday and in the absence of captain Virat Kohli and Yuvraj Singh, MSD was the star attraction. He spent a lot of time in nets and it was then that Agnibesh Paul cleaned up the most successful Indian captain with ease, reported Xtratime.com.

Dhoni himself was perplexed with the delivery and congratulated Paul for his effort. "Great bowling, your line and length is perfect, keep it up," said Dhoni to the teenager who plays for Gurudas Institute in the 2nd division CAB league.

Naturally, Paul couldn't control his emotions as he said, "I am delighted to have castled Dhoni, earlier I had dismissed Gautam Gambhir at KKR practice and Ajinkya Rahane during Pune Supergiants' practice at the Eden Gardens."

India went in for an optional practice on Saturday and Dhoni was seen doing what normally a skipper does - inspecting the Eden Gardens pitch, taking local feed backs and giving his teammates a pep talk - with captain Kohli deciding to skip the training session and head coach Anil Kumble not around.

After the practice session that lasted for about two hours, Dhoni, who stepped down from captaincy just before the ODI series, was seen heading to the pitch that looked as flat as it can be without any tinge of grass. He went down on his knees to have a close look at the strip and felt the surface by placing both his palms.

In Dhoni's esteemed company was national selector and former Bengal captain Devang Gandhi with whom the Jharkhand dasher had a lengthy discussion afterwards.
