Monsoon Football League kicks off in Mumbai

The Monsoon Football League started of in full swing on 5th August with 36 teams playing between on Tuesday and Wednesday in the 5 a side football tournament held at Astro Park in Kamala Mills, Lower Parel.

At the end of the first round of matches, Graduates FC leads Group A with three points, Son of Pitches leads Group B with three points, Passion United tops Group C with three points and Myjic leads Group D with three points.

The matches will be played every Tuesday and Wednesday under floodlights for 11 weeks with the next round of games being held on 12th & 13th August.

This tournament is organized by Astro Sports & Soccer Schools of Excellence and is partnered by WWE & dna newspaper.

The winners of the tournament will receive a trophy and prize money Rs.1,10,000/-
