Hell broke loose during a Calcutta Football League (CFL) encounter between Federation Cup champions Mohun Bagan and Tollygunge Agragami when an injury time goal of the Kolkatan giants was disallowed and the match had to be abandoned, reported Xtra Time.

The game was deadlocked at 1-1 when Bagan's Azharuddin Mallick scored in added time only to see the linesman flagging him offside. Reacting to this, the officials and fans of the green and maroon brigade entered the playing arena and the supporters started pelting missiles on the ground. All efforts of resuming the match went down the drain as it was almost impossible to carry on with the game amidst such chaos.

Mohun Bagan management decided to withdraw the players and announced that they would be boycotting the CFL to protest against the refereeing which saw two other goals being ruled off-side.

Prabir Das and Joel Sunday were the scorers for Bagan and Agragami respectively, while Daniel Bidemi and Das's other two goals were discarded for off-side. But the real drama started in the injury time when Mallick's strike was cancelled with two and a half minutes still left on the clock.

Supporters broke the fencing of the Mohun Bagan ground and started throwing bottles at the match officials and Tollygunge players. Match commissioner Udayan Halder finally decided to call off the match due to poor law and order.
