Kieron Pollard had already brought Mumbai Indians to the threshold of a historic win against Kings XI Punjab while chasing 230 at the Wankhede.
The Caribbean remained unbeaten on 50 off 24 balls with the help of a four and five sixes. Apart from some massive hitting techniques, he seems to have some tricks up his sleeve too to retain strike when his team needed him the most.
Mumbai needed 16 of the last over. He hit the ball in the deep mid-wicket region and ran for two with intent and purpose.
But Pollard, returning for the second run, didn't reach the crease and the umpire called one short.

However, Harsha Bhogle did not find it to his liking.
Won't be surprised if Pollard ran one short deliberately to keep strike
