Million-dollar emerald studded belt for Pacquiao-Mayweather mega bout revealed

The million-dollar belt for the much awaited mega bout between unbeaten US boxing champion Floyd Mayweather and Filipino boxer and politician Manny Pacquiao has been revealed.

Mayweather and Pacquiao would be fighting for the one million dollars emerald-studded WBC championship belt on May 2 in Las Vegas' MGM Grand, in addition to their 100 million dollars plus paychecks.

The World Boxing Council had commissioned the belt when the fight was announced and adorned it with 3,000 real miniature emeralds, TMZ.com reported.

The belt was revealed at a WBC event in Mexico and would make its way to Vegas this week escorted by a private security team, the report added.
