Michael Clarke sympathises with India over umpire's 'howler decision' to dismiss Cheteshwar Pujara

Indian batsman Cheteshwar Pujara's dismissal after a Josh Hazlewood delivery brushed his helmet caused an explosion on Twitter in cricket-loving India, with even Australian skipper Michael Clarke sympathizing with the visitors.

India's refusal to use the Decision Review System (DRS) caused them damage again as Pujara was given caught behind the wicket for a ball that brushed the grill on his helmet.

Pujara first drop swayed away from a rising Hazlewood delivery and moved his hands to shield his face, which fooled umpire Ian Gould into thinking the ball had made contact with the batsman's gloves but replays clearly showed the ball hitting his helmet, News.com.au reported.

Twitter exploded in cricket-loving India and even Clarke sympathised with the visitors, tweeting that that was not a great decision.
