Swansea recovered from a shaky start to edge past Manchester United 2-1 to demote Louis van Gaal's men to fourth place in the Premier League table on Saturday at Liberty Stadium.

Though midfielder Ander Herrera had put United ahead in the 28th minute, Ki Sung-yueng equalized from a close range for Swansea just minutes after Van Gaal's men took the lead.

Subsequently, Bafetimbi Gomis flicked in Jonjo Shelvey's stunning shot in the 73rd minute to defeat United second time in the season.

With the win, Swansea have been moved to ninth spot in the table with 37 points.
