London: Manchester United supporters had reportedly displayed a banner with the words 'Thank You Moyes' from the stands at the Old Trafford during the club's Premier League clash with Norwich City.
The match, which was player-coach Ryan Giggs' first game as an interim manager, was won by United 4-0, representing their largest home league win of the season as they did their best to put the misery of their time under the sacked David Moyes behind them.
According to Metro.co.uk, United fans showed their love for banners being flown over Old Trafford with the new display, although it is not yet confirmed whether the effort was genuinely sincere or hugely sarcastic.
Meanwhile, the infamous 'Chosen One' banner was taken down from Old Trafford's Stretford End stand, removing the last visible evidence of Moyes' miserable reign at the club, the report added.
