Seems like the cash-rich Indian Premier League has resorted to absolutely baffling audience polls to grab attention
Updated : Sep 30, 2017, 05:49 AM IST
With an overdose of T20 cricket in the beginning of the year, it wasn't surprising that people would eventually lose their interest in the Indian Premier League.
While SONY estimated a whopping 500 million viewership for the 9th edition of the Indian Premier League, the actual numbers have only seen a decline.
Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers may have single-handedly glued a large chunk of people to their TV sets, but who doesn't want those extra people more!
Buzzfeed noted that the IPL has come to use some bizarre polls to gain those extra viewers. As if Danny Morrison turning into a Sikh man wasn't enough, there are some amazingly hilarious audience polls that are being conducted.
Have a look at some of them:

But it doesn't stop at these polls, an even more hilarious statistic will bewilder you for its association with the sport.

With almost 10 more matches to play this season, we can probably expect more intriguing polls to be held.
