Following a resounding victory over Delhi Dynamos FC, the struggling FC Goa would be looking forward to keep up their new-found winning momentum when they clash with Mumbai City FC in an Indian Super League match here on Thursday.

Goa's thumping 4-1 victory over Delhi, whom they had beaten at home earlier in the tournament, should act as a tonic when they lock horns with Mumbai who drew their previous away game against Kerala Blasters without conceding a goal in Kochi.

French defender Youness Bengelloun scored twice while his compatriot and veteran medio Roberto Pires at last found his name on the score-sheet after seven games, to give the Zico-coached team something to look ahead against Mumbai.

Considering that the two teams had featured in a goalless draw when they met in Goa, the Mumbai City-supporting crowd at the DY Patil Stadium would want a more attacking approach to make it an entertaining game.

The team had scored just five goals from seven games going into their clash against Delhi and two of those were scored during the 2-1 first leg win over the team from the capital at home, an indication of the lack of firepower up the ranks.

With only eight points in kitty from as many games, the match will be crucial for Goa to keep their hunt for a semifinal place alive.

The resounding victory over Delhi should galvanise Goa into a better attacking force against Mumbai who have kept their slate clean in their previous two games -- including the last one against Kerala Blasters at Kochi.
