It's all but over for Delhi Daredevils in the IPL-7. On Saturday, they suffered their fourth loss at home in as many matches when they were beaten by Hyderabad Sunrisers by eight wickets in a rain-curtailed affair at the Ferozeshah Kotla ground.
Daredevils have lost seven out of their nine games and there is virtually no way they can make it to the knockouts from here.
Chasing a target of 43 in five overs, Naman Ojha delivered the knock-out punch hitting two huge sixes at the crunch to anchor his Sunrisers to an eight-wicket victory.
The match witnessed four rain interruptions and Duckworth-Lewis method kept coming up with different targets after every stoppage.
Earlier, Sunrisers restricted hosts to 143 for seven in 20 overs. But their chase was first shortened to 117 off 15 overs and then to 97 off 12 overs. Finally, they were handed a paper sheet asking them to score 43 off five.
