The Indian Premier League conducts its seventh players' auction on Wednesday with some of the biggest international and Indian stars who will go head to head with uncapped players for the first time.

Controversial England batsman Kevin Pietersen will be one of the first players to be auctioned along with veteran India players Yuvraj Singh and Virender Sehwag in the two-day auction.

New Zealand all-rounder Corey Anderson is without a doubt the biggest draw in the auction. He's has been allotted the No 83 in the 10th set which contains the second round of international all-rounders.

Among the 219 capped players, who have played some form of international cricket, 169 are Indians while 50 are overseas players. This will also be the first time in IPL's history that uncapped players will be auctioned.

The cricketers have been divided into 53 sets with each lists ranging from eight to 10 players. The first list that consists of some of the biggest stars of Indian and international cricket named as Marquee 1 or M1.

Since Pietersen will not play for England anymore, he's a hot pick for the auction. Along with Pietersen, Virender Sehwag, Yuvraj Singh, David Warner, Ashes hero Mitchell Johnson, Mahela Jayawardene, and the recently-retired Jacques Kallis will also go under the hammer at the first go.

Like in the previous years, no Pakistan players feature in the IPL list while there are a huge 28 sets slotted for the uncapped Indian and overseas players.

The slotting of Anderson at 83 will mean that there will be a 'Bidding War' between the teams with higher salary caps like Delhi Daredevils.
