Mumbai Indians’ Aaron Finch stands in danger of missing IPL8 post a hamstring injury he sustained against Rajasthan Royals at Ahmedabad.
Finch, who limped off field while batting, did not bat or field and was seen in the dressing room with his hamstring heavily strapped.
Mumbai Indians' skipper Rohit Sharma said that Finch’s injury is worrisome and the Aussie is set to undergo a scan on Thursday morning.
Finch tweeted that scan results were not encouraging and played down chances of playing IPL 8.
Thanks for all your messages. Going to get some scans on my hamstring this afternoon, fingers crossed!

Looks like I'll be out of the rest of @IPL at this stage! The scan showed a bit of damage, absolutely shattered!

Mumbai have a couple of options in Lendl Simmons and Aiden Blizard who may replace Finch for the rest of the tournament.
Or else they could also opt with with Rohit and Parthiv Patel as a new opening combination.
