Kings XI Punjab prolific batsman Shaun Marsh has received an official reprimand for breaching Indian Premier League (IPL) Code of Conduct during his side's five-wicket defeat against Sunrisers Hyderabad at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Hyderabad on Saturday.
The 32-year-old Australian batsman admitted the Level 1 offence under Article 2.1.8, which relates to abuse of cricket equipment or clothing, ground equipment or fixtures and fittings during a match.
Meanwhile, compatriot and Kings XI team-mate Glenn Maxwell was fined for breaching the same conduct. Maxwell also admitted the offence and accepted the sanction of a fine of 25 percent of his match fee.
For Level 1 breaches of the IPL Code of Conduct, the Match Referee's decision is final and binding.
