Cricket in India is a religion. We've all heard of that. But have you ever thought about the effort it takes to be a cricketing God worshipped by millions?

The Board of Control for Cricket in India had a pleasant surprise in store for fans on Thursday as it gave a sneak-peak of the Indian cricket team's net session held at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.

After the drubbing against Australia in the first Test in Pune, Virat Kohli and Co don't want to leave any stone unturned in their preparations for the second Test in Bengaluru.

In an elaborate video, opener KL Rahul plays the role of a tour-guide with diligence as he talks us through the nuances of how each player hones his skills during practice.

Rahul shares light on how there is a notice board that each player has to check before the start of a session to see the exact sequence of their drills. There are three nets put up where batters face spinner, pacers and throw-downs.

Rahul also talks about how each player tries to simulate a match situation while practising and tries to visualise his up-coming opponent playing against him.
