Pakistan off spinner Saeed Ajmal's presence is the 'x-factor' that the country will have against India in the upcoming limited overs series, which starts in Bangalore from Tuesday, according to former Pakistan captain and noted commentator Ramiz Raja.

The Daily Times quoted Raja as saying, that Ajmal is someone who knows how to pick up wickets and also has a lot of variation in his bowling.

Talk of Ajmal and comparisons with India's Ravichandran Ashwin are bound to crop up, but Ramiz felt that the Tamil Nadu boy needed to work on his variations.

Raja said Ashwin was "trying too many things" during the Test matches against England while trying to come round the wicket. He added that Ashwin's bowling was very disappointing during England T20 Internationals as he got only one wicket.

Raja said Ashwin needs to concentrate more on bowling rather than batting.
