Indian wushu team wins 9 medals in Asian Championship

The Indian wushu team won four silver and five bronze medals in the 6th Asian Championship which drew to a close in Taoyuan, Taiwan on Mo.

Pars Cup gold-medallist L Budhachandra Singh lost the gold medal bout against Van Bau of Vietnam To in 56Kg category and Praveen Kumar lost the 48Kg finals to Minh Duc Vu.

K Arunpama Devi (90Kg) and Rajinder Singh (60Kg) were the other silver-medallists.

The medals winners:

Silver: L Budha Chandra Singh (Budha Chandra Singh (56Kg), Praveen Kumar (48Kg), Rajinder Singh (90Kg), K Arunpama Devi (60Kg).

Bronze: Y Santhoi Devi (52Kg), Pooja Kadian (65Kg), Vishakha Malik (70Kg), Rajani Deori (75Kg).
