Indian women football team coach Sajid Dar today expressed confidence ahead of the match against Sri Lanka in Olympic Qualifiers Round 1, saying the players have got enough time to prepare themselves.

The Indian women arrived here five days prior to their opening encounter against Sri Lanka, which is slated to kick off on March 13, before clashing swords with hosts Myanmar on March 15.

Head coach Dar was satisfied with this step by the All India Football Federation (AIFF) and said: "I am very pleased with the number of days at hand; it will provide us time to adjust to the weather conditions."

The AIFF sent the team days before the game to help the players adjust with the weather and to get acquainted with foreign pitches.

The players start their training from tomorrow.

The 20-member contingent was all focused and senior player Oinam Bembem Devi said: "We are dying to prove our self. This is our time and we hope to do justice to our preparation."
