Indian all-rounder Irfan Pathan becomes a proud father

All-rounder Irfan Pathan was having a mixed year thus far. After being bestowed with the responsibility of leading his state side by the Baroda Cricket Association, Pathan did reasonably well with a bunch of young players at his disposal.

However, Baroda failed to make it to the Ranji Trophy quarterfinals, and add to that, Pathan was also released by Rising Pune Supergiants for Indian Premier League 10.

But just when it all seemed to be going downhill for the left-hander, he received the most beautiful news he could have wished for.

Pathan and his wife Safa Baig have become proud parents of a baby boy. The India discard shared his happiness with his followers by posting a message on Twitter on Tuesday.

Pathan's tweet, which says, “Is ehsas ko Bayaan karna Mushkil hai…is me Ek behtareen si Kashish hay, blessed with a baby boy,” clearly shows how overwhelmed he is with this new development in his life.
