Rohit Sharma was again the butt of all jokes after he failed to prove his Test credentials at his favoured Eden Gardens on Friday. The right-hander came in at the fall of Cheteshwar Pujara's wicket with the scoring reading 187 for four, but departed quickly by scoring just 2 runs off 12 balls.
Twitterati vented their frustration in all kinds of ways. Here are some of the interesting tweets:
So what if Rohit Sharma got out scoring 2 runs. Even 2 runs are important if it helps India in winning the match. Respect our legends!

Rohit Sharma 2(12). If you did not notice the talent in his walk back to pavilion, something's really wrong with you. #INDvNZ

I don't know why everyone has a problem with Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan. At least they are consistent. Consistently poor! #indvsnz

The splendid work done by our jawans --- C Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane --- has been neutralised by Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma. #indvsnz
