Judgement on Narsingh Yadav's doping case will be announced at 6pm on Saturday, said National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) DG Navin Agarwal.

Earlier this week, Narsingh, who bagged the Rio Olympics quota with a bronze medal finish in last year's World Championships, tested positive for a banned anabolic steroid on both his 'A' and 'B' samples. Meanwhile, Narsingh had cried conspiracy, claiming that his food had been spiked and had filed an FIR at the Sonepat Police Station against two fellow wrestlers. WFI chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh had also supported Narsingh’s claims of a conspiracy, after his sparring partner and roommate Sandeep Tulsi also tested positive for drugs.

"I have always maintained that there has been a conspiracy against me. If I am cleared of the charges, I will go to Rio. I have identified the boy who was seen contaminating my food. I have given a detailed complaint to the police," Narsingh had said after filing his complaint on Wednesday. "I feel even officials are involved because I am not being provided the CCTV footage," he had added.

Narsingh himself desisted from taking names but WFI President Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh revealed the alleged saboteurs while talking to the media.

Following the positive tests, Parveen Rana was named as Narsingh’s replacement to save India the quota place. The move has been approved by United World Wrestling. Narsingh was selected for the Rio Olympics in controversial circumstances as two-time Olympic medallist Sushil Kumar had demanded for trials to determine who should go to the games. However, Narsingh was favoured for the same after fighting a lengthy legal battle with Sushil.
