India hockey squad returns home amid warm reception post defeating Australia 3-1 in series

The Indian men's hockey returned to the capital New Delhi amid a warm reception after registering a historic win against Australia in the four-match series.

The Indian hockey team defeated World Champions Australia 3-1 to win the series at the Perth Hockey Stadium.

The team's captain Sardar Singh, who completed 200 international matches during the Test series, is now eyeing the Olympics.

India would next face Germany in the upcoming Hockey Champions Trophy starting next month.
