India beat Pakistan by five wickets in Blind Cricket WC final

India won the Blind Cricket World Cup (BCWC) after defeating Pakistan by five wickets in the final at the Wally Wilson Cricket Ground in Cape Town, South Africa on Sunday.

India won the toss and asked Pakistan to bat first. Pakistan scored 389 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 40 overs with Muhammad Jamil making his third century, scoring 107 runs.

India managed to reach the target in 39.4 overs for the loss of five wickets, with batsmen, Prakasha Jayaramaiah scoring 82 runs, while Ajay Reddy made 74, The Dawn reported.

Earlier in the competition, Pakistan beat England by eight wickets in the first semifinal played at YMCA Cricket Ground in Cape Town on Saturday to qualify for the final.

Pakistan had earlier defeated India by seven wickets in the opening match of the Blind Cricket World Cup, the report added.
