ICC finalise warm-up matches' schedule's and timings prior to 2015 World Cup, India to play opener against Australia

The International Cricket Council (ICC) have announced a shortlist of warm-up games which will be held across Adelaide, Christchurch, Melbourne and Sydney, prior to World Cup 2015 in Australia and New Zealand.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) have announced a shortlist of warm-up games which will be held across  Adelaide, Christchurch, Melbourne and Sydney, prior to World Cup 2015 in Australia and New Zealand.


Here is the complete schedule of warm-up games with their respective timings.

 

February 8:            India versus Australia (Adelaide Oval), (1400).

 

February 9:            South Africa versus Sri Lanka (Christchurch), (1100). 

                                  New Zealand versus Zimbabwe (Bert Sutcliffe Oval), (1100). 

                                  England versus West Indies (Sydney Cricket Ground), (1430).  

                                  Pakistan versus Bangladesh (Blacktown), (1430).

 

February 10:          Ireland versus Scotland (Blacktown), (1430). 

                                  India versus Afghanistan (Adelaide Oval), (1400).

 

February 11:         New Zealand versus South Africa (Hagley Oval), (1100). 

                                 Sri Lanka versus Zimbabwe (Christchurch), (1100).  

                                 England versus Pakistan (Sydney Cricket Ground), (1430). 

                                 Australia versus United Arab Emirates (MCG),(1430).

 

February 12:        West Indies verus Scotland (Sydney Cricket Ground), (1000).

                                Ireland versus Bangladesh (Blacktown), (1000).

 

February 13:        United Arab Emirates versus Afghanistan, (Melbourne), (1000)

 

The above mentioned matches are not registered as official ODI matches under ICC norms and 15 players can be used by every side on a rotational basis.Spectators though ticketed for matches will not be charged. Media will be allowed entry to cover matches given they complete an accreditation process, the second phase of which starts on December 1 2015.

Also the ICC confirmed that the main tournament opener on February 14 between New Zealand and Sri Lanka will start at 1100 (NZT), whereas the Australia-England match at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on the same day will start at 1430(AEDT).          

The March 29 finale at Melbourne Cricket Ground will start at 1430(AEDT).
