Having held defending champions Bengaluru FC to a thrilling 3-3 draw, Royal Wahingdoh are eyeing full points against Sporting Clube de Goa in a Hero I-League match, scheduled to be played at Nehru Stadium, here tomorrow.

Santosh Kashyap's boys would like to win the Clube encounter in order to stay close-on-heels to league leaders Mohun Bagan for the title race.

They have 21 points from 12 matches are three points behind table-toppers Mohun Bagan, who played two matches less than the former.

Kashyap knows that he can't let complacency creep into their system against bottom-placed Clube, who are looking for their first win.

Wahingdoh youngsters have given good account of themselves especially Jakichand Singh who single-handedly defeated Pune FC scoring both the goals.

Jackichand and Satiyasen Singh have been enterprising on the flanks. While Densil Theobald has been orchestrating the moves from the middle keeping their forward line of Beekay Bewar and Kim Seong-Yong busy, Loveday Enyinnaya and Lalchawnkima will hold fort at the heart of defence.

"The last time we played against them, we have beaten them but that does not mean we should be complacent, but instead need to remain more focussed against struggling Sporting Clube de Goa who are capable of beating any team on their given day.

"They have two good foreign strikers and will come out hard at us in search of their first win and we need to guard them well and keep on playing to our potential to collect full points," stated Kashyap.

On the otherhand, Clube, who once again fumbled to score their first win against Dempo SC as they conceded a late goal to hold them to a 2-2 draw to remain at the bottom with 6 points from 12 matches.

Sporting Clube de Goa coach Mathew Costa was disappointed with his team's defenders and the goalkeeper, who let in soft goals.

"We gave good account in the last match against Dempo FC creating lot of scoring chances and were cruising for our first win after leading 2-1 until but our defence let us down conceding a late goal. I know that the pressure is building on us to save relegation. A couple of victories from now on will put things on the right track," Costa tried to put up brave face after end up pre-match training session.
